The Career & Technical Education (CTE) Department offers students opportunities to prepare for college and careers. How?

Data shows CTE students are better prepared to enter post-secondary education and are typically better focused when they enter college.

Clay County’s CTE students earn more industry certifications than most Florida districts and is the highest performing district per capita in the state for students earning industry certifications.

Students have opportunities to work closely with business/industry to have a firsthand understanding of the career in which they are interested.

Business Partners work closely with the CTE Department to give students the opportunity to network with professionals, and the chance to job shadow, intern, undergo mock interviews, etc.
