Comprehensive Presentation of Arts Related Service Hours

Records at least twenty-five (25) volunteer hours of arts-related community service in his or her community and presents a comprehensive presentation on his or her experiences pursuant to district procedures.

Project Description

The purpose of this project is to highlight the volunteer hours of arts-related community service that students complete as one of the requirements for the FL Seal of Fine Arts. Students must complete the hours and presentation by the designated due date for each academic year. Students are advised to use their school’s prescribed volunteer logs to complete this project, however, please be aware that there must be at least 25 hours of ARTS-RELATED community service volunteer hours represented on the log per the Seal requirement. If students need a volunteer log, they may also use form FA-4 provided by FL DOE.

Presentation Template

Students may use the Fine Arts Community Service Presentation Template to guide structure their project. Please  note the following:

• Replace all generic information with project specific information 

  • Ex. replacing “sample title” with the title of the project

  • Ex. replacing “school” with the student’s school

• There are multiple guiding prompts throughout the template. Remove the prompts as you are completing the presentation.

• Duplicate/remove slides as needed.

• Design/thematic elements of the presentation template may be changed to personalize the presentation. However, ensure that altering these elements does not detract from the content and purpose of the presentation.
