Through the mission of the School Board and the leadership of the Superintendent, Clay County Schools recognize the value of strategic planning. Establishing strategies and action plans within the strategic plan enable long and short-term needs to be addressed in an organized and logical manner.  

Key Components: 

• Goals -  Focuses on the ultimate achievements or results that are sought.

• Strategies - Highlights the overall plan and techniques used to achieve the desired outcomes.

• Key Activities- Emphasizes the specific, essential actions and tasks required to implement the strategies.

• Metrics of Success- Focuses on the measurable data points that will demonstrate progress towards and the attainment of the desired outcomes.
