CCDS Wireless Communication Devices Policy FAQ
In compliance with Florida House Bill 379, the District’s policy has been revised from last school year to restrict wireless communication devices from morning bell to dismissal bell, including class changes throughout the school day. Junior high and elementary students will not be permitted to use their wireless communication devices during the day. Only high school students will be permitted to use their devices at lunch. Students may not use a wireless communication device during instructional time except when expressly directed by a teacher solely for educational purposes. In the event of a school-wide emergency, students will have access to their devices.
