CW04 Keller is a native of Oak Park, IL. He began his career December 1983 when he reported to RTC Great Lakes, IL. with follow-on training at Naval Air Technical Training Center Millington, TN. for Aviation Structural Mechanic (Egress/Environmental) "A" school.

Warrant Officer Keller’s previous sea duty assignments include tours with the “Fighting Renegades” of VF-24, VF-1 “WolfPack” at NAS Miramar in San Diego, CA. VFA-195 “Dambusters”, Atsugi Japan, and VAQ-142 “Grey Wolves” Whidbey Island WA., the “Fighting Redcocks” of VFA-22, Lemoore, CA. and VFA-81 “SUNLINERS” Oceana, VA.

Ashore, Warrant Officer Keller completed a tour with the “Gunfighters” of VF-124 at NAS Miramar, CA. In 1989, he joined the Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron (Blue Angels). His three year tour with the “Blues” culminated with a historic 30 day European tour, in which the team conducted 16 Flight demonstrations in eight countries, including three Eastern bloc countries (Russia, Romania, and Bulgaria). He also served at the Naval Air Technical Training Center, Pensacola, FL., HSL-48 “Vipers” NS Mayport, FL. He returned to Northeast Florida in February 2013 to complete his 30 years of service with the “Spartans” of HSM-70

He earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University specializing in Aviation Safety and Human Factors.

Warrant Officer Keller is designated an Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist, and Master Training Specialist. His awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy/Marine Corps Commendation Medal (6 awards), Navy/Marine Corps Achievement Medal, (4 awards) Good Conduct Medal, (4 awards), National Defense Medal (2 awards), Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal, and Air Force Outstanding Unit Award, (with “V”), as well as, various campaign and unit awards.
