Grades 6-8 Student Instructions for Using
-Holt McDougal Online (My HRW) for Collections-
2017-2018 School Year

For Students Taking:  M/J Language Arts 1, Standard or Advanced (Grade 6)
M/J Language Arts 2, Standard or Advanced (Grade 7)
M/J Language Arts 3, Standard or Advanced (Grade 8)

1. Go to the OneClay Portal and log in using your network username and password.  Your network username is your six-digit Student ID / Lunch Number.  If you don’t know your network password, ask your teacher for assistance.  

2. When the Dashboard opens, click on the My ClassLinks Student tile (see below).

3. When the new screen opens, you will see your class schedule.  Click on the green colored Houghton Mifflin Harcourt link for your class.  In the example below the class is M/J Language Arts 1 (Grade 6 ELA).

4. If an Authentication Required dialog box like the one below appears, use the username and password you used before to log in to the OneClay Portal.  Click on the Log In button.When the new screen opens, you should be inside the Holt McDougal Online (My HRW) program.  Your teacher will go over how you will be using this online class this school year.
