Grade 7 and 8 Science Instructions for Using
-Ed: Learning, Online HMH Platform-
2020-2021 School Year

These instructions are for students in the courses listed below:

M/J Comprehensive Science 2 and 3, M/J Comprehensive Science 2 and 3 Advanced 

This online program is accessed via the OneClay Portal.

1. Once you’ve logged in to the portal, click on your Applications Icon.  Then find and click on the HMH ED tile.

2. When the new screen opens, you will be in the Dashboard tab and you should see a greeting with your name along with 4 tabs across the top: Dashboard, Discover, Assignments, and Scores.  Click on the Discover tab.

3. Now you should see a down arrow with your textbook name listed next to the arrow.

Example:  HMH Florida Science Grade 8

If you wish to view the other textbooks offered simply click on the down arrow to choose the desired book.

Science Fair:

All students enrolled in Grade 7 and 8 Pre-AICE, Gifted and Advanced Science are required to complete a science fair project. It is optional- but encouraged that Grade 7 and 8 Standard Science complete a science fair project as well.
