Surf and Skate Club

The Surf and Skate Club is a group of like-minded Oakleaf students that love being outdoors and in the environment. The club meets every other week for a "Skate and Pick" event, when they skate around the school campus picking up trash. They get to hang out and get exercise.  The end result is they keep our  campus beautiful and keep debris and trash out of the storm drains. This trash ultimately could end up in Black Creek and the St. Johns River. Joining the Surf and Skate Club is an excellent way to "Think Globally and Act Locally". Additionally, the club plants trees on Earth Day and wants to get a skatepark built in Oakleaf.
