I am extremely excited to be your Assistant Principal at Shadowlawn Elementary.

I have served the Clay County School District for 16 years in a variety of roles. Starting as a physical education teacher at Coppergate Elementary then moving into the alternative intervention mentoring service teacher role. I had the privilege to serve as Lakeside Junior High and Middleburg High School's behavior site coach before taking the position of Assistant Principal at both Lake Asbury and Orange Park Junior High.

At Shadowlawn Elementary our goal is to provide our students with a supportive and inclusive environment which engages and inspires by promoting a growth mindset and belief that all students are capable of learning. We hold ourselves and our students to high standards and high expectations in order to reach a common goal of our students reaching their utmost potential. Our teachers and staff work diligently everyday to ensure that we provide a safe and positive learning environment for our students. When our students leave Shadowlawn Elementary, we feel confident that they will be prepared to excel in junior high school and beyond.

Shadowlawn Elementary is one of the premier Elementary Schools in Clay County and I am committed to dedicating my time and service to all students, faculty, staff, as well as other community stakeholders. When I am not involved in a school or community function, I am spending time with my family or enjoying the beautiful outdoors on the golf course. My door is always open and I can be contacted with questions, suggestions, and/or concerns. Go Falcons!
