🌟 Building Career Pathways Through CTE! 🌟

We are thrilled to highlight the incredible work happening at Clay High School through their Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs!

What was once known as "vocational education" has evolved into modern, high-tech CTE - providing our students with pathways in fields like Automotive, Carpentry, Culinary, Digital Design, Digital Information Technology, Criminal Justice, Health Science, Veterinary, Agriculture, and Intro to Teaching.

Today, CHS welcomed business partners and district leaders to tour these vital programs, witnessing students gaining hands-on, future-ready skills and connecting their passions directly to careers.

A huge thank you to Superintendent Broskie, our School Board members, CHS Principal Dr. Jen Halter, CTE Supervisors Alice Paulk and Kelly Mosley, and CTE Coach Mrs. Wirt for their dedication and support!

CCDS is investing in pathways that work!

What a meaningful morning celebrating our veterans at Paterson Elementary's annual Veterans Day Program! It was a powerful tribute to the brave men and women who have served our country. PES students and staff poured their hearts into this special event, which featured: The impressive Presentation of Colors by the Fleming Island High School ROTC Color Guard. A beautiful performance of the National Anthem and patriotic selections by the talented Paterson Chorus directed by Kelly Lotze. Thought-provoking Essay Readings by students Kennedy S., Riley P., and Kately G. One of the most impactful moments of the ceremony was when our veterans stood as their service song was played. A heartfelt Recognition of Paterson Active Duty Military Families by Principal John O'Brian. A special thank you to Superintendent David Broskie and School Board Member Beth Clark, for attending and supporting the program! We extend our deepest gratitude to every veteran for their sacrifice and service. We salute our veterans today and always! #VeteransDay #ThankYouVeterans #MilitaryFamilies #PatersonElementary #OneClay #MakeAnImpact

We had a fantastic time at our first-ever Superintendent's Lunch & Learn today, hosted by Mr. Broskie, his cabinet, and the ITS leadership! 👏

A huge thank you to our Information and Technology Services department, led by Director Duane Weeks, for kicking off this new series. They delivered an insightful presentation on their mission to support our district, from the classroom to central operations.

The key takeaway? Partnership! We loved hearing their vision for being "partners at the table" to best support our schools and students.

It was a great discussion, a lot of learning, and a wonderful way to strengthen our collaboration. We're already looking forward to the next one!
