Had a great time at our Leaders Lunch on Wednesday! Students who serve in leadership roles across campus joined me to brainstorm ideas for future planning—including next year’s Homecoming theme! Their creativity, insight, and commitment to our school community are inspiring. We wrapped up with some well-deserved fellowship and lunch from Chick-Fil-A Middleburg as a thank you. So proud of these amazing student leaders! #LeadershipInAction #BlueDevilPride #StudentVoice #theclayway

Senior Spotlight: Kenzie S.
What are your plans for after graduation?
To attend Palm Beach Atlantic for two years and get my AA then transfer to UF and become a veterinarian.
Why did you choose this college/university?
I chose this college because they have a good vet program and I loved the campus when I went and visited.
What helped you be prepared for college the most?
The Clay High Vet Program. I spent four years learning different stuff about being a vet and that got me to pursue my passion of being a veterinarian which I couldn’t of done without the help of Coach Rix.
What helped prepare you for life after high school?
Being apart of FFA had helped me learn leadership skills so that plays a big part in my life after high school as well as the scholarships that are helping me pay for my college.

Celebrity Showmanship at the Clay County Agricultural Fair was an absolute blast!
It was a true pleasure to be surrounded by so many incredible leaders from our community — all coming together to support our students and celebrate agricultural education. Even better, many of them are proud Clay High Blue Devil alumni!
A special thank you to Reagan Luke and her Grand Champion pig — what a team! And a heartfelt shoutout to the Mosley family for the countless hours of training and preparation that made this showmanship event so memorable.
I am thrilled to have taken home Grand Champion for Clay High, and congratulations to Martin Aftuck, Principal of Middleburg High, on winning Reserve Grand Champion!
Looking forward to seeing these leaders back in the ring next year.
Go Blue Devils!

Day 7 at the Clay County Agricultural Fair was one for the books!
We kicked off the day with heart and purpose as several of our incredible students with learning differences participated in the first annual Agribilities event — a beautiful reminder of the inclusive and empowering spirit of our fair. Great job Mrs. Dressel for organizing an excellent event!
Our Blue Devil Brigade and FFA Chapter proudly marched in the parade, showcasing the pride, discipline, and tradition that define Clay High. The Blue Devil Brigade and Colorguard also lit up the community stage with a stunning performance that had the crowd cheering!
Dr. Halter delivered a powerful message about the importance of student involvement in community events like the fair, emphasizing how experiences like these foster belonging, build connection, and shape the leaders of tomorrow.
In the show ring, our students continued to shine! The final Swine Showmanship practice took place as we gear up for the always-exciting Celebrity Showmanship competition. And huge congratulations are in order for Mia, who won Grand Champion for Sheep Showmanship, and Maggie, who brought home Overall Champion for Breeding Ewe!
We are so proud of our Blue Devils for their dedication, talent, and heart. Day 7 was a perfect example of how our students grow stronger together — through community, competition, and connection.
