Congratulations to a few of our Band students for their incredible achievements in the FIRST-EVER Clay County Composition Contest! This exciting new opportunity allowed students to submit original works in categories such as Large Ensemble, Small Ensemble, Songwriter, and Electronic Music. In addition to showcasing their creativity, students who scored high enough also fulfilled a requirement toward earning the Fine Arts Seal of Distinction on their diploma.
We’re proud to recognize all five of our student participants: Forlani Lateef, Ethan Miller, Emilio Magalhaes, Caleb Diao, and Leonardo Arias.
Even more exciting, three of our students won 1st place in their categories:
Leonardo Arias – Large Ensemble
Caleb Diao – Small Ensemble
Emilio Magalhaes – Electronic
Please join us in celebrating their creativity, hard work, and musical accomplishments!
