Clay Virtual Academy staff members made a strong showing at the Florida Blended Online Learning Discovery (FLBOLD) Symposium last week. Several presented, and even more took home awards! Today, Montclair Elementary welcomed Senator Bradley to Mr. Beaver’s fourth-grade Social Studies classes! Our students recently wrote letters to the senator as part of their lessons on Florida government, and she took the time to visit, thank them personally, and share more about her role in the state legislature.

Due to the winter storm closure in January, the student calendar has been adjusted to meet state requirements for instructional hours. April 11th, 2025, which was previously Fair Day (a student and teacher holiday), will now be a regular school day. Please mark your calendars with this change. We appreciate your understanding!

The terrific "Talon Techs" from Wilkinson Junior High, led by their coach Mr. Neil Mckenzie, have qualified for the Florida Championship for the FIRST Tech Challenge after their performance in the Northeast Florida league tournament this past weekend. They secured 3rd place out of 32 teams at the league tournament and are currently ranked 9th out of 232 teams in the state. The championship is scheduled for the weekend of February 28th in Winter Haven, FL. Please join us in wishing them good luck!
