Throwing it back a few years at DIS.... first grade always did an animal research project in the spring. Students had to write an essay about the animal and build its habitat. They were displayed in the media center so all students could enjoy looking at their hard work!

Third grade had a GREAT time seeing a symphony in action yesterday. They learned how certain instruments can tell parts of a story, rhythm, and how music can evoke emotions in the listener.
